Wealthy and aimless, Craig Blake (Jeff Bridges) is involved in a real estate deal and his responsibility is to evict the tenants of a gym. But then he starts to like bodybuilder Joe Santo (Arnold Schwarzenegger) who prepares for Mr. Universum and falls in love with the receptionist Marie-Tate (Sally Field).
