The Cry In The Dark
Drama - Australia's most controversial murder case of the century. This is the story of Michael and Lindy Chamberlain, whose youngest daughter, Azaria, was killed during a camping trip in the Australian outback. The Chamberlain's report of the tragedy was not believed. The lack of strong emotion over their loss coupled with their Seventh Day Adventist faith aroused the suspicions of the general public. The media played up to these prejudices and Lindy Chamberlain was found guilty of murder and sent to prison. She was released only after the accidental discovery of firm evidence of the child's apparent mauling by a dingo.
